About this role:

A new role within the Seattle-based Marketing team focused on bringing products to life for our sales teams and customers. A detail-oriented marketer with a passion for furniture and interior design that will immerse themselves in our products to translate the key features and details for sales and marketing resources available across all channels.

This role works cross-functionally (Marketing, Sales, Product Development, Operations and Customer Service) to support organizational and marketing goals and ensure the timely launch of our products. You will be responsible for coordinating all marketing/sales details related to the new products we launch several times a year, as well as modifications to our existing product portfolio.

This role reports to the Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with product designers, brand partners and product development team to bring new products to market and drive adoption of our portfolio across our sales network through marketing collateral, our website, sales presentations, rep tools, etc.
  • Gathers and disseminates all product information to relevant parties including key selling points, product features, specifications, differentiators, pricing and more; continually maintains and updates our product marketing library.
  • Assists in copy writing and reviewing product details included in all marketing collateral, website and external communications.
  • Builds presentations and/or leads product training for the Sales team, Sales Reps and the internal Project Management team.
  • Manages product and installation photography library inclusive of evaluating ongoing photography needs for sales and marketing materials; identifies gaps in photography needs and negotiates and manages permissions.
  • Participates in strategic planning for product launches and photoshoots to make sure key features are captured and showcased.
  • Conduct competitive market research and provides strategic recommendations regarding product portfolio gaps, product differentiators, pricing, etc.
  • Participate in and/or conduct customer interviews within A&D community through focus groups and in-field visits to capture and evaluate industry trends, customer needs and preferred product features.
  • Can produce basic data analysis to evaluate product adoption, influence portfolio gaps and product roadmap.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in marketing, business, design or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of Product Marketing experience managing multiple products at once, complex details, multiple decision makers and varied timelines; anticipates needs in advance of issues arising
  • Proactive at identifying new opportunities for process improvement and refined marketing and sales tools
  • Data analysis skills
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Need to love products and be an advocate for them
  • Translates technical information into marketing and sales language
  • Strong project management and time management skills with superior attention to details

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in interior and interior architectural design efforts on all project types.
