I stay actively engaged in IIDA because my participation keeps me connected to a community I deeply care about. IIDA also provides opportunities to continually build on my professional knowledge and skills. When I got involved with IIDA 5 years ago to help organize TOAST!, I hadn't been involved with a professional organization since college. From my first TOAST! experience to today, the relationships that I develop and new skills I learn reinforce the value of IIDA.
